Supreme Grand Champion Lionmaine Buffalo Soldier
We have started showing Basher with TICA this year. As with everything it takes money to show a cat, approx £300 for a 2 day show (bear in mind we also take our youngest son with us). Apart from the show entry itself, there is petrol, hotel accomodation, food and that's without any luxuries. Cat shows rarely award monetary prizes, I have known one club to do this only once. To get enough points to earn a regional win will cost the cat fancier thousands of pounds in that show year. Cat breeding is a passionate hobby not our business therefore we show when we can.
We have been delighted with what Basher has achieved in such a short time. It has coincided with him maturing and Basher can be a bit of a sprayer too. His breeder even nicknamed him Slasher at one show, lol. Fortunately at his 3rd outing he has now calmed down a bit, he gets over excited, wants to chat to the boys, flirt with the girls and play with the judges toys. We wouldn't show a cat if they were timid or didn't enjoy it.

We only went for the day to the CatTICA show in Birmingham, but Francine Hicks loved our boy and made him best Maine Coon and best longhair cat in show.

The CoonTICA 2 day Easter Purrade cat show, at Bletchley, Milton Keynes saw Basher move through the ranks Grand Champion and Double Grand Champion to Triple Grand Champion. We were astonished and absolutely delighted although we take no credit for this as it is down to his breeders lines and hard work that has been done beforehand.

TickedTICA Cat Show ~ Gains QGC
We had a great time at the 2 day show in Enderby. Massive thanks to Julie Chadwick (Lionmaine) & Kathryn Atkinson (Katmea) for showing Basher on the Saturday, when we couldn't make it. Bash had a great weekend, he became QGC on Saturday and with more than enough points just needs that elusive best cat final now to become Supreme Grand Champion. Bash made 9 finals out of a possible 12! WTG Basher..

CatTICA Cat Show ~ Gains Supreme Grand Champion
We only made the Sunday for the show in Gateshead but what a day we had. Basher made all 5 finals and gained a best with Eduardo Borras making our boy a Supreme Grand Champion. Needless to say we are all absolutely delighted with this. Massive thanks to his breeder Julie Chadwick of Lionmaine
