About Us

We are based on the edge of the Pennines, the spine of the North West of England. All our cats are treasured family members and live indoors with the rest of the family, 3 children and dogs.

We are a "normal", noisy family and Maine Coon Cats have the perfect temperament to fit into this sort of household.

Our aim is to breed healthy kittens which are true to type and concentrate on temperament. They will be raised in our home with the rest of the family for essential early socialisation and plenty of TLC. (Playstation skills not included)!

Our cats are totally pampered and receive lots of love and attention every day. Because of this we dont believe in keeping a large number of cats.

Nature is not soft hearted but selects the strongest, healthiest and best. We aim to preserve these traits in this all natural breed. We are dedicated to health screening our breeding cats in a constant effort to produce healthy, strong kittens.

ALL cats used on our breeding programme will be fully tested for HD and HCM. Our cats are negative for parasites and we vaccinate reguarly. Our cats are also screened for respiratory problems.

Our kittens will go to their new homes with a pedigree from TICA, health & vaccination certificate, care & feeding manual and a cd of photos of them with their family.

My personal reasons for breeding are down to a very special kitten, called, Indy. Indy turned my life upside down and inside out, I regretted all those wasted years when I had not let a cat into my life. It is because of Indy that I am determined to breed these beautiful, loving cats.

We discovered he was ill and lost our little man, but he and the others that have since joined me are my emotional anchors. With so much love to give. The chance of sharing this with other people and allowing them to give and be given such special love is what urges me on. I hope you will find the same love and comfort in your kitten.
